Californication

Hank Moody may be a talented author, despite his gift of the gab, especially for live seducing, his private life is a mess. Repeated attempts to have a stable relationship with Karen, also for the sake of their daughter Becca, fail because of their extreme libertarian infidelity. Hank's sexual appetite also infects lawyer Charlie Runkle, who indulges in all kinds of naughtiness too. More 'victims of hormones' contribute to the lustily lust-loaded

Blue State Mountain

Gossip Girl

Welcome to New York's Upper East side where the wealthy and connected mingle at benefits and try to deal with their always dramatic love lives, not to mention picking colleges. Blair Waldorf is the so-called toast of adolescence in her world; she and her friends, Kati Farkas and Isabel Coates, go to a prep school and fancy parties with their rich parents. Blair is envied by her adversaries because she is thought to have the perfect life, not just because of her gorgeous boyfriend, Nate Archibald, but because she's also planning on getting into her dream college,Yale. With everyone worried about college(or procrastinating on worrying, which everyone seems to be doing), and senior year dragging along, her seemingly perfect life is interrupted by her ex-best friend, the beautiful Serena van der Woodsen, coming back into town after getting kicked out of boarding school. Serena comes back into her life, and into the eyes of Blair's boy friend. When everything Blair knows starts to fall apart, everyone will realize that her life is far from perfect. Will life in the the Upper East Side redeem itself of what it's really supposed to be? Or will the false facade reveal that the rich have the same problems as the not so rich (Jenny and Dan Humphrey), if not more. And just maybe Jenny and Dan are all the more happy with their simple, not so expectant lives.

The beautiful Blair Waldorf is the toast of the adolescent population of Manhattan's Upper East Side, envied by her friends and the adversary of many fellow rich girls. Her ideal world begins to collapse, however, when her ex-best friend, freshly excluded from her previous boarding school, enrolls at Blair's private school.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand

The story begins with an unnamed Thracian’s involvement in the war against the Getae in Roman auxiliary under the command of the legatus, Claudius Glaber. Glaber, persuaded by his wife Ilithyia to seek greater glory, instead decides to confront the forces of Mithradates. The Thracian, feeling betrayed, leads a mutiny against Glaber, and returns to find his village destroyed. The Thracian and his wife Sura are captured by Glaber the next day; the Thracian is condemned to die in the gladiator arena for his crime, while Sura is condemned to slavery. However, he manages to kill the four gladiators appointed to kill him, and Senator Albinius commutes the prisoner's punishment to slavery. Since the prisoner's true name is unknown, Lentulus Batiatus, the owner of a ludus in Capua suggests to name him "Spartacus", because he fought like the ferocious Thracian king of that name.

Seeing the Thracian's skill and popularity with the crowd, Batiatus purchases him for training. Spartacus joins Batiatus’ ludus under the tutelage of Doctore, a former gladiator and fellow slave. He is befriended by Varro, a Roman who sold himself into slavery in order to pay his debts and support his family. However, he is harassed by more senior gladiators, notably Crixus, an undefeated Gaul, and Barca, a Carthaginian. Soon, Spartacus learns that Sura was sold to a Syrian slave trader. Batiatus, who has been unable to control Spartacus during his first days of training, discovers the instrument of his taming, and persuades Spartacus to fight for his and Sura's freedom.

Spartacus becomes very successful and is named the "Champion of Capua". Batiatus arranges the purchase of Sura, but she is delivered mortally wounded; her murder was ordered by Batiatus to keep Spartacus loyal and focused. Spartacus casts off his history as a Thracian, and forgets his dream of freedom, becoming content with life as champion. The turning point is when he is forced to kill his only friend in the ludus, Varro, when Ilithyia seduces the editor of an exhibition match in order to hurt Spartacus. While suffering from his wound in this match, he has fever dreams that lead him to discover Batiatus arranged Sura's death. Knowing that it is all or nothing when it comes to resistance of his enslavement, he resolves to "kill them all" and lead a revolt against the ruling house he once fought for.

Ross is a paleontologist, he now lives in an apartment with Rachel, across the way from his sister, Monica Geller-Bing, a chef, and her new husband, Chandler Bing. Monica is a clean freak and very neurotic about it! and Chandler is laid back and uses humor as a defense mechanism. Across the hall from Monica and Chandler is Joey Tribiani, who now lives alone after Rachel moved out to move in with Ross because of the baby. Joey is a not-so-bright but sweet actor who recently made a big war movie and is on Days Of Our Lives. Another friend who we can't forget about is Pheobe Buffay, who is now engaged and soon to be married to Mike. She is a free spirited masseuse who sings crazy songs like "Smelly Cat". Their relationships with each other: -Rachel Green and Monica Gellar were best friends in high school, and after Rachel ran out on her wedding with Barry, she moved in with Monica, this was in the first season. -Monica Gellar and Ross Gellar are brother and sister. So Ross knew Rachel also from high school, when he had a crush on her. -Ross Gellar and Chandler Bing met in college and became best friends, Chandler met Rachel and Monica when Ross brought him home on Thanksgiving. Pheobe Buffay was Monica's old roomate before the show started and Joey Tribiani came into the picture when he moved in with Chandler, also before the show started. It's complicated, but one thing is for sure, they are all best "Friends."

The Sopranos

An innovative look at the life of fictional Mafia Capo Tony Soprano, this serial is presented largely first person, but additional perspective is conveyed by the intimate conversations Tony has with his psychotherapist. We see Tony at work, at home, and in therapy. Moments of black comedy intersperse this aggressive, adult drama, with adult language, and extreme violence.

North Jersey mob boss, Tony Soprano, self-described "waste management consultant," reluctantly seeks a psychiatrist's help after blacking out. Lest he appear weak, he must keep his therapy a secret from the rest of the Mob. He's stressed: his teenage daughter is giving his wife fits; his mean-spirited mother refuses to move to a retirement community; his aging Uncle Junior, jealous of Tony's rise to the top, won't stay in line and engineers a plot to kill Tony; and the feds, armed with RICO, are circling. In therapy, Tony must come to terms with his father's example, his mother's manipulations, and his own fears of death and loss of family.

Prison Break

An engineer (Wentworth Miller) installs himself in a prison he helped design, in order to help his brother (Dominic Purcell), a death-row inmate who insists he did not commit the crime for which he has been sentenced to die and help him escape.

Lincoln Burrows is on death row for the murder of the vice president's brother. He insists he's innocent and only his brother Michael Scofield believes him. As an engineer who helped design the prison where Lincoln is being held, Michael takes drastic measures to help his brother. He gets himself arrested and sent to the same prison so that with his knowledge of the building the two of them can escape together. However, while inside, Michael discovers a massive conspiracy that is determined to see Lincoln's sentence carried out. Breaking out will be more difficult than he thought, but he's still going to try.

The O.C

"Ensemble drama revolving around the young adult community of the Orange County, California, area. A street-smart teen winds up in the midst of the high-class society of Newport Beach, sparking something of an "edgier" take on the "Melrose Place" style premise."

"Ryan Atwood is a troubled teenage youth from the wrong side of the tracks in Los Angeles who finds himself on his own, after he is thrown out of his own house. He finds a place to stay in the posh home of the Cohens in the wealthy community of Newport Beach, the O.C. (Orange County), California. Ryan is accepted by the stern but compassionate Sandford "Sandy" Cohen, a lawyer who has represented Ryan in the past for his misdeeds. But Sandy's wife, Kirsten, aware of Ryan's criminal history, is wary of this new house guest. The Cohen's son, Seth, bonds with Ryan quickly and shows him the ropes of the community -- and vice-versa with Ryan giving advice to Seth about life and love. Ryan develops a crush on Marissa Cooper, a neighbor girl who lives down the street, and he has problems with her not-so-sheltered existence in dealing with her distant father Jimmy and her weak-willed mother Julie. Also, Marissa's best friend, Summer, is oblivious to the crush that Seth has on her, while taking a liking to Ryan. And so begins a new life for Ryan, the Cohens, the Coopers, and generally everyone else in the wealthy, picturesque, secretive, turbulent community in Orange County. "
